Founded by Tess Beers, a licensed esthetician with a passion for healthy, glowing skin, The Skin Sanctuary is dedicated to helping each client feel confident in their own skin, through customized treatments and expert guidance. Every service is thoughtfully tailored to your unique skin needs. From personalized facials and microneedling, full-body waxing, lash & brow services, and Botox & dermal filers, our goal is to enhance your natural beauty while supporting long-term skin health. CANCELLATION POLICY
I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment

Tess Beers
Born and raised in Elkins, where I now reside with my 2 and a half year old daughter, husband, and soon to be son. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science from West Virginia Wesleyan College in May of 2020. I have always had a passion for both skincare and the medical field. After having my daughter, I was inspired to pursue esthetics and turn my passion into a career. In early 2024, I opened The Skin Sanctuary, and in May 2025, I proudly expanded to offer even more services and treatments. My goal is to help clients feel confident and cared for by combining my medical background with a true love for skin, health, and beauty. I also have a strong love for fitness and a L2 CrossFit coach at 1201 CrossFit, here in Elkins.
Stephanie Ruud
I am a WV native… made Elkins my home 21 years ago. I am a BSN graduate of WVU School of Nursing (1999) and graduated from CAMC School of Nurse Anesthesia in 2004. I also completed a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Marshall University (2004). My healthcare career has been an amazing journey caring for the people of Randolph Co and surrounding areas. Aesthetic nursing allows me to utilize my many years of experience to provide clients with personalized consultations, treatment plans and optimal outcomes. I am certified to provide injectables and lip filler from Aesthetic Medical Educators Training. I am a Mom to an amazing adult son and am tolerated by my sweet but needy cat Ivy and love all things outdoor and active. Walking, workouts, reading and spending time with family and friends complete my days.
